Meme Generator
The classic meme look has barely changed in fifteen years: a photo, a bold white caption top and bottom, and a black outline doing the heavy lifting. This generator reproduces that look faithfully — Impact-style lettering, automatic text sizing so long captions still fit, live preview — and exports a clean JPG or PNG with no watermark of ours anywhere near it.

How to use Meme Generator
- Choose or drop the image you want to caption.
- Type the top and bottom captions; leave either one blank if you do not need it.
- Adjust the text size slider if the automatic fit is not to your taste.
- Download the finished meme as JPG or PNG.
Supported behavior
- Captions are drawn in a heavy Impact-style font with a black outline, uppercased the classic way.
- Text auto-fits: long captions shrink and wrap instead of running off the edges.
- The preview canvas is full resolution, so the download matches the preview exactly.
Best for
- Reaction images and group-chat ammunition.
- Social posts that need a quick caption.
- Teachers and presenters making a point with humor.
Limits
- If Impact is not installed on your device, the browser falls back to a similar heavy sans-serif — the look stays close but not identical.
- Very long captions become small; memes read best with a handful of words per line.
- Only top and bottom caption zones are supported — this is the classic format, not a full design tool.
Privacy notes
- Selected files stay on your device during processing; nothing is uploaded to a server.
- Object URLs are revoked when previews or results are replaced.

Meme Generator FAQ
Does the meme keep my image's original size?
Yes. The caption is drawn onto a canvas at your image's own dimensions, and the export keeps them unchanged.
Why is my text automatically uppercased?
That is the classic meme convention, and the generator follows it. The lettering, outline, and placement are all part of the format people recognize instantly.
Can I add text in the middle or at custom positions?
Not in this tool — it does the classic top/bottom format. For a text stamp at a custom position, the Watermark Image tool offers a 3 × 3 position grid.
