Split PDF
Split PDF takes one document and gives you back every page as its own PDF file, packed into a single ZIP so you are not clicking through dozens of downloads. It is made for scanner bundles, exported slide decks and merged files you received as one lump: split once, then keep, send or archive exactly the pages you need.

How to use Split PDF
- Choose or drop the PDF you want to split.
- Click Split PDF — every page becomes a separate one-page PDF.
- Download the ZIP from the result panel and unzip it on your device.
- The files inside are named in page order: page-1, page-2, and so on.
Supported behavior
- Every page becomes its own valid one-page PDF, named in order inside the ZIP.
- Pages keep their original content and quality — nothing is re-rendered.
- The original file on your device is never modified.
Best for
- Separating a scanned bundle into individual documents.
- Sending just one page of a long report to someone.
- Breaking an exported deck into single-page handouts.
Limits
- This tool splits into individual pages only. To pull a specific set of pages into one file, use Extract PDF Pages instead.
- A document with hundreds of pages produces a ZIP with hundreds of files, which can take a while to build on slower devices.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before they can be split.
Privacy notes
- Everything runs on your device: the document you open never leaves your browser.
- The ZIP is assembled in your browser's memory and downloaded directly — it never passes through a server.

Split PDF FAQ
How do I get the individual files out of the ZIP?
Double-click the ZIP in Windows Explorer or macOS Finder (or use any unzip app) and the one-page PDFs appear as ordinary files.
Can I split a PDF into ranges instead, like pages 1–10 and 11–20?
Not with this tool — it makes one file per page. For ranges, run Extract PDF Pages twice with the two ranges you need.
Does splitting change the quality of the pages?
No. Pages are copied into their new files as they are, with no re-encoding.
What is the largest PDF I can split?
Files up to 50 MB are accepted. Very long documents are fine but the ZIP is built in memory, so extremely long files work best on a desktop browser.
