Delete PDF Pages

Delete PDF Pages removes the pages you list — blank scanner pages, the cover sheet you never send, the appendix nobody reads — and hands back the document without them. The pages that remain keep their original order and content. When the list of pages to drop is shorter than the list to keep, this is faster than extracting.

How to use Delete PDF Pages

  1. Choose or drop the PDF.
  2. Type the pages to remove, using commas and ranges: for example 1,4,8-10.
  3. Click Delete pages.
  4. Download the trimmed PDF from the result panel.

Supported behavior

  • The page list accepts single pages, ranges, or a mix: 2,4-6.
  • Remaining pages keep their original order, size and quality.
  • The tool refuses to delete every page — a PDF must keep at least one page.

Best for

  • Removing blank or upside-down pages from scans.
  • Dropping cover sheets and fax headers before forwarding.
  • Trimming appendices out of a report for a shorter send.

Limits

  • The deletion happens in the downloaded copy only — your original file stays untouched on your device.
  • Deleting pages does not securely erase their content from the original; it simply is not copied into the new file.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.

Privacy notes

  • Your PDF is processed locally in your browser and is never uploaded to a server.
  • Because the trimmed file is built locally, even sensitive documents can be cleaned without uploading them anywhere.

Delete PDF Pages FAQ

Can I undo a deletion?

Your original file is never changed, so just run the tool again on the original with a different page list.

What happens if I list every page?

The tool stops and tells you a PDF needs at least one page. Remove one page from your list and run it again.

Does deleting pages shrink the file?

Normally yes, although shared resources like fonts are kept, so the saving is roughly — not exactly — proportional to the pages removed.

Can I delete pages from a protected PDF?

Only after removing its password with the Unlock PDF tool. The page structure of an encrypted file cannot be changed directly.
